This is Orvalean the witch Blood-Curdling Devil and Bliverai the blind, spirit-like Blood-Curdling Devil. Both are adopted from snowflake12298.
(In Oravlean's P.O.V)
I hopped quickly along a slightly worn path, most likely made that way by humans; there had been a lot of them coming through the forest no to catch us Blood-Curdling Devils. I paused slightly, glancing over my shoulder at Bliverai, who was stumbling along behind me. Turning back towards the path, I froze and raised my wings defensively at a low noise. It was most likely heading towards Bliverai and I, since it was getting louder.

I turned around, herding Bliverai in a conviently placed large bush, hiding beside him and peering out warily. A group of humans- ten, I assumed- were there, looking around in confusion. I could only faintly hear what they were saying, although I supposed that was better than nothing. "I told you; there's none of those weird vampire dragons here!" A few second pause before a different voice replied.

"If they weren't here, then please do explain the dragon footprints."

"Well, maybe a different dragon made them!"

"That's very unlikely."

I frowned warily, unwilling to move and bring attention to myself or Bliverai. Luck, apparently, decided against that however as one of the humans glanced over at us and spotted us. I hissed as the human headed towards us, and I grabbed Bliverai by the scruff- who was currently screeching in utter confusion- and glared threateningly at the humans.

I reluctantly set Bliverai down, still hissing at the humans. "Hey, we're not trying to hurt you!" One of the humans- a different voice- pointed out, seeming annoyed. I merely growled at them, trying to push Bliverai behind me; worst case scenario, Bliverai wasn't hidden by me, therefore leaving him vulnerable.

The humans, thankfully, seemed to take the hint and backed off; I couldn't tell if it was because they realized I was trying to protect Bliverai or because they were just scared of me. Either way, they left the small area after a couple seconds, clearly unwillingly to get into a fight with a dragon which would lead to their unfortunate demises.

I turned around, nudging a still confused Bliverai back down the path we'd come from. "Come on, Bliverai; we'll be away from any humans in due time, I promise." Bliverai nodded slightly, seeming thankfully comforted by that.

(In Bliverai's P.O.V)
I stumbled awkwardly along a slightly worn path, trying to keep up with Orvalean. There'd been a lot of humans around lately, trying to catch us Blood-Curlding Devils. I blinked in confusion slightly, sensing Orvalean's- who was padding just in front of me- attention on me. She turned back to the path and I continued after me, stopping again when I heard Orvalean freeze and move her wings upwards. I could hear footsteps, and I assumed that was why she stopped.

I blinked and turned, confused, as Orvalean hered me into a conviently placed large bush, hiding beside me. I could hear the faint rustling of leaves, and I assumed she was trying to look out of the bush. Judging by the voices I could hear easily, I assumed we were hiding because of humans. "I told you; there's none of those weird vampire dragons here!" A few second pause before a different voice replied.

"If they weren't here, then please do explain the dragon footprints."

"Well, maybe a different dragon made them!"

"That's very unlikely."

I shifted uneasily; if the humans were to spot us, then I'd have no idea unless they made a lot of noise. I just hoped we got lucky and the humans moved on. Luck, apparently, decided against that however as one of the humans glanced over at us and spotted us. Orvalean hissed as the human headed towards us, and grabbed me by the scruff- I screeched, surprised at the sudden movement.

Orvalean set me down after darting out of the bush and a little ways passed the humans, still hissing at them. "Hey, we're not trying to hurt you!" One of the humans- a different voice for the other two I'd heard- pointed out, seeming annoyed. I could hear Orvalean growl at the voice; I honestly thought it would be better than to just run away instead of growling at them.
The humans, thankfully, seemed to take the hint and backed away from us; I couldn't tell if it was because they were scared of Orvalean or because they just didn't want to be killed by an angry Orvalean.

I raised my head as Orvalean turned around, carefully me back down the path we'd come from. "Come on, Bliverai; we'll be away from any humans in due time, I promise." I nodded slightly, genuinely relieved.

This is Arunaiea, an Outrageous Windshrike adopted from NightmareRebuff.

I sat silently on the front steps of my house, staring down at Loyin Village from my house, which was located on a large, somewhat flat hill. Having your house higher than the village itself was one of the perks of being a chief, I guessed. A very inconvient perk, but whatever; that was NOT the point right now. The point was that everything had been going fine, and I had been sitting here for three hours without any distractions, not counting my two Terrible Terrors- Bright and Night- who were playing with my helmet.

Normally, during happy, sunny mornings like this, one of my annoying friends came sprinting up the hill, yelling furiously about something. And that hadn't happened yet today, and it was very worrying. Annoyances were supposed to be happening around now; this was not how mornings like this were supposed to turn out.

Several minutes after I considered giving up and labelling this day 'abnormal' Ki's yelling quickly reached my ears. So, it was going to be a normal day then. That was comforting. I stood up as Ki sprinted up to me- and nearly ran into me- flailing her arms frantically. "The flightless snow leopard-look alike dragon I found and tamed on that one island you sent me to- thanks a lot for that, and that was sarcasm by the way- there's another of them here and their arguing, I mean I think they are and I'm pretty sure they're going to kill eachother and then Selnian would be dea--" Ki rambled, her words jumbled together and odd, still flailing her arms dramatically.

I raised one hand, annoyed, interrupted here. "Okay, 3 things; 1, shut up. 2, calm down. 3, explain. 4, if you start fast-talking again, I'm letting Bright and Night jump on you." Bright and Night, who'd long since knocked my innocent helmet down the hill, snapped upwards with hilariously serious faces at their possible task. Ki glared at me, not appreciating being told to shut up, but forcibly calmed herself down regardless.

"Okay...Selnian- the dragon I tamed from the island you sent me too- was arguing in front of my house with another of her species when I woke up. I tried to make them stop, and so did Hiss and Growl- my ZippleBack- but they just ignored him, so I up here to try 'n find you," Ki explained, her voice still slightly fast. Not even for me to be bothered, but enough to know that she internally freaking out now.

I nodded slightly, shrugging. "That seems easy," I muttered, turning and facing Bright and Night. "You two; go find Scorch, HazeFlash, Verazivie, Stark and Thorn." Bright nodded and flew off with Night to go find the Monstrous Nightmare, StormCutter, Sand Wraith, RumbleHorn and Deadly Nadder I'd named. Turning back towards Ki, I walked past her, heading down a large flight of steps that led down the hill to my house. "Ki, you come with me."

Ki nodded, quickly getting the implication and darted passed me in the direction of her house and the arguing, annoying dragons.

It took a good ten minutes to navigate through the large village and get to Ki's house, considering her house was literally on the opposite side of the village to mine. Now that I noticed, all my friends' houses were opposite of mine. I'd have to look into that later; right now, I had to deal with annoying dragons who I would have no issue with kicking out of Loyin.

Scorch, HazeFlash, Verazivie and Thorn were already there however- I guessed Stark was busy with his hatchlings again and couldn't come. I could see Ki's dragon- Outrageous Windshrikes were what they were called, I believe- with another one, crouched threateningly, in front of her. This one had mint green, light blue and dark purple scales with gleaming yellow-orange eyes and small, feathery brown wings.

Thorn was standing in front of Selnian, roaring furiously at her and forcing her to reluctantly back up. Scorch wasn't having such an easy time getting the wild Windshrike to back down; Scorch had lashed out three times with his left wing claws, tried to blast fire at her, and the Windshrike merely dodged nimbly and tried to hiss at Selnian.

Verazivie and HazeFlash were both sitting off to the side, looking amused. I shook my head, annoyed, grabbing one of HazeFlash's back spines to catch her attention. "Just grab the wild Windshrike and bring it over to me," I grumbled, annoyed. HazeFlash nodded, lunging forwards sharply and grabbing the Windshrike easily in her claws. The Windshrike, distracted with Scorch and Selnian, let out an extremely loud shriek of surprise and anger, writhing furiously in HazeFlash's grip.

HazeFlash turned in the air, flying down to hover in front of me and held the Windshrike out to me. The Windshrike thrashed furiously, glaring at me and screeching angrily. I merely reached out and lashed my hand across the dragon's mouth. The Windshrike cringed backwards, clearly baffled, and hissed at me, disgruntled. "You can either leave this area or stay and leave Selnian alone," I hissed harshly, the Windshrike trying to shift backwards, clearly wary now.

I gestured for HazeFlash to released the Windshrike. HazeFlash rolled her eyes, dropping the Windshrike on the floor and landing back by Verazivie, who was now looking over in our direction. Ki had long since darted over to Selnian, who was sulking and glaring at Thorn. The mint green, light blue and dark blue Windshrike frowned uneasily at me, crouched warily, almost intimidated. I knelt down in front of the crouching Windshrike, frowning.

"Well? Stay and don't antagonize Selnian or leave and go somewhere else on the island," I stated, frowning. The Windshrike glared at me, backing up and hissing. HazeFlash started to stand up, most likely taking the Windshrike's hissing as a sign of aggression. I pushed myself back up to my feet, not even bothering to try and get HazeFlash to stop; there was a much higher chance of the Windshrike listening to the massive, four-winged dragon instead of me.

//Now in HazeFlash's P.O.V because why not. Also dragons talking are in bold + italics because I ran out of ideas.//

I frowned down at the odd, insufferable dragon- I heard Scarlet call them Windshrikes, so I assumed that was their species name. "Hello," I said, tilting my owl-like head to the left. The Windshrike hissed again, scowling, "What do you want?" I shifted my wings, frowning. "I want to know why you are here." The Windshrike paused, almost seeming confused."Because there was berries growing by this place, so I guessed there would be more here," The Windshrike huffed.

I nodded slightly in understanding. "As long as you aren't trying to fight with Selnian- the other Windshrike- I'm sure nobody would have any objections to you taking the berries. Us dragons don't eat them, and the humans only sometimes eat them," I explained, raising my wings upwards in the form of a shrug. "So, I can just come and take any of the berries whenever I want?" The Windshrike asked, blinking in surprise. "Basically; yes."

The Windshrike nodded again, before backing up and darting off into the fields surrounding the village. I assumed she'd be back at some point, however, to take some of the berries growing near the village.

This is Anarlunan, adopted from snowflake12298.
I slunk around the edges of Loyin Village. Almost all the teenagers and children in the village were bouncing from house house, in a holiday I believed was called The Night of Haunts ((basically Halloween)). Normally, I wouldn't care about human festivities, but what made me approach this village was the candy. Now that I looked about the village, however, I could see many dragons scattered about- a black StormCutter and a pink one dressed in Halloween-like clothing were arguing and growling at eachother, an annoyed-looking Nadder dressed as a vampire followed obediently after a dark-haired human, a Monstrous Nightmare and a Skrill were jumping about, following a brown-haired human.

I narrowed my bright green eyes, confused. Were these dragons under the control of the humans? I paused before shrugging the thought off- I wasn't under the control of humans and I was technically in the village, so that couldn't be it. Returning my focus on obtaining candy, I slid around quickly to the opposite side of the surprisingly large village. There was one giant house, most likely the Chief's house. There were four other houses surrounding the giant one.

Looking closer, I could see some of the humans from before. I ducked behind the largest house, eyes narrowed warily. All but one of the humans eventually went into their own houses- I guessed some of them were related to eachother. I carefully crept around the side of the large house, peering around the front. Almost immediately, I could smell candy- not from the other areas, but in a close proximity. Frowning, I tried to trace the scent, jumping backwards in alarm when one of the two humans spoke up. "You're looking for candy, right?" I glared upwards, hissing, before realizing she was speaking to me and nodded warily.

"I thought so- I could see you walking around the edges of the village," the girl continued, walking up a few steps in front of the house and picking up a surprisingly large bag, filled with candy, and handed it over to me. I grasped the open ends in my jaws- it would have less of a chance to slip and have candy slip out like this. I started to back up, preparing to fly away, when the human spoke up again. "If you come back during the Night of Haunts every year, I can get you more candy each time." I looked up immediately, nodding with the bag of candy still in my mouth. The human nodded too, clearly pleased for some reason.

She headed back up the steps to the house, which I assumed was hers, calling to me, "I'll see you on the next Night of Haunts!" Before she headed into the house. I nodded again, although she couldn't see it, and flew away from the village, content with the bag of candy I now held.

This "Queen" Selnian, an Outrageous Windshrike adopted from NightmareRebuff.
I grumbled random, very...colorful swear words under my breath as I mounted my Deadly Nadder, Subzero. Apparently, my seriously lame friend, Scarlet, had wanted me to go out and explore this new island she found. Oh, I should also mention that she woke me up several hours before the sun even rose. So here I was, gripping onto Subzero's sleek, Gronckle iron saddle, at an ungodly hour, preparing to fly off and take notes of a random island I quickly knew I hated without even seeing it.

Apparently, Scarlet had found a small, seemingly flightless dragon that had started 'yelling' at her when she approached. Obviously, she left, most likely disturbed by that. She also said that she'd seen what looked like shiny objects near the dragon, which it seemed the be guarding- Scarlet had given me a variety of necklaces, bracelets, anklets and shiny jewels should I run into the now seemingly greedy dragon.

So now, I was given the task of both taking notes of the island and observing an annoying little dragon.
Amazing. I know, I know, best job ever.

Still swearing under my breath, I patted Subzero's head-spikes, signalling for him to take off, which he did quite quickly.

//time-skip to the island because flying is boring//

I dismounted Subzero's saddle, lightly patting the side of his head as I got off, and surveyed the surrounding area. (I didn't see where the general habit was, so I'm just going with a stereotypical mountainous area with a surrounding forest) The area was scattered with trees and bushes, clustered together to almost form a baricade. Tilting my head backwards slightly, I could easily make out a large mountain with many caves carved into ledges; lots of dragon must live in those caves, I supposed.
I turned back to Subzero, opening up a saddle bag that was hooked to the sides of his saddle, and pulling out a charcoal pencil and a thick pad of slightly frayed paper. The cover of the pad of paper depicted Subzero, which his name on it.

Shrugging, I grumbled, "It's do or hideat this point, I guess. Look around and possibly die, leave and hideat Scarlet's hands." Subzero made a low noise of agreement, his pale, icey blue head-spikes flattening backwards slightly before perking back up. I nodded slightly, begininng to head towards the baricade of trees.

It took me a good half an hour struggling through bushes, winding around trees, and stopping to take notes before I finally made it to the bottom. I should probably mention that I'm currently having to pull thorns out of my left arm- very painful thorns. Subzero was making an odd, dragon version of laughing- ironic that my main dragon just had to have deadly thorns and now I'm practically withering in pain having to pull those darned thorns out.

I sighed as I pulled the 27th, and last thorn out, before starting my trek up the mountain. The mountain was rather steep at the bottom, though it seemed to jut inwards, creating a huge ledge and a secondary base to the mountain. Glancing back up, I noticed that this happened there times before it reached the top of the mountain. Huh. Vikings probably did that, or possibly dragons.

Actually, that doesn't matter. Shaking my head in attempt to clear out the curious thoughts, I finally pulled myself up to the inwards ledge. Once I was standing a good distance away from the edge, I mentally face-palmed. Why in Thor's name didn't I fly up on Subzero? Procceding to curse out my stupidity in my mind, I headed towards one of the caves, mainly to see what was inside if not to also rest for a few minutes. There were no dragons in the cave, thank Thor, though I did notice a small-ish, medium-ish nest that seemed that have black feathers in it- the feathers were soft and almost silky upon touching it.

Looking closer, I could see that the rim of the nest seemed to have sparkly jewels and the like embedded in it- gems that would definitely sell good with vikings, actually. Curiously, I picked up one that I assumed was an emerald or possibly a peridot. I couldn't tell. It was jagged, though the edges weren't paticularly sharp. I could tell it was a natural gem, though, from how it was still partially covered by rock and how the gem itself seemed to have a somewhat cylinder shape- definitely a gem not yet smoothened by a viking.

Just as I set the intriguing emerald/peridot/I don't know what it is back down, a very loud and aggitated mix of a squeal and a screech erupted from the cave's entrance as a small, red-and-black eyed creature bounded towards me. Automatically, I flicked my pale gaze to the creature's markings, which were interestingly like a snow leopards. It's tail was long, compared to its body, with adorable, almost angel-like, fluffy, feathery wings- not really wings, more like small feather tufts. The creature would be even more adorable if it wasn't angry at me.

It didn't attack immediately, thankfully, though it glared at me furiously, fangs drawn in an attempt to be threatening. Said creature failed miserably, however. Being the dumb human being I was, I abandoned all thoughts of this possible threat and instead knelt down to pat the creature's head. "You'd be more intimidating if you weren't adorable, y'know." I stated, curiously reaching over to pat one of it's feathery wings. "Huh. I didn't know a dragon could get it's feathers to be that soft...Granted, I never met a dragon with feathers."

The little dragon hadn't really appreciated the first compliment, quite obviously as it growled, though it quickly pulled up onto its hind legs and puffed its chest out, clearly pleased at the comment of her- I was assuming it was a her- feathers. Recalling the gems, I quickly gestured for Subzero to come over, as he'd merely been staring into the cave in obvious confusion the whole time. He stalked over, and the moment the little dragon saw him, she screeched in the shrillest of screeches I have heard. I assumed this was a whole 'I am the better dragon, I am superior, don't disrespect me' thing- Subzero had done that a lot. He glared down at the smaller dragon, but grudgingly trudged over to my side and laid down in a form of false submission- he probably knew this dragon was the one Scarlet had seen and was just going to play along.

Reaching over, I grabbed his saddle bag while the dragon stepped back, a wary hiss coming from the dragon. Ignoring that, I carefully dumped out the contents of the bag- a pearl necklace and matching pearl bracelet, two amethyst stones, a sapphire, ruby, and emerald necklace, a peridot bracelet, and a single, untouched, natural diamond. The dragon practically lunged at the contents, quickly yanking the shiny objects towards herself, giving me and Subzero a deadly glare as she awkwardly moved the object towards her nest, hiding them behind it for the time being.

I reached for the other saddle bag and spilled out the contents of that bag (the saddle bags Ki used are rather small), which consisted of quite a few natural gems, untouched by humans in terms of being natural and partially artificial. The dragon wasted no time in shoving these gems behind her nest, turning to give me an expectant stare; I assumed she was waiting for more of the gems.

I raised both my hands up, shrugging. "I don't have anything else like that on me right now." I said, causing the snow leopard-patterned dragon to frown in obvious annoyance and dissappointment. "Though...If you came with me, I could get you more of those~." I added, smirking- hey, I'd be able to get a new dragon and learn about it then! Besides, I'd take that offer if I were the dragon.

The dragon in question frowned, turning to eye her nest before bouncing into it. She literally bounced into it. She patted some of the gems surrounding the rim of the nest, giving me a hard stare. I stared back, confused, before I quickly realized that she wanted a place that was fancy like those gems, most likely. "Alright. Come with me, you get more gems and a fancy area to stay. That what you want?" The dragon nodded, pleased.

"Great. You need a name though- I'm not just going to call you dragon or something." At this, she frowned again, sitting back on her haunches and folding her forelegs, seeming to pout at this. "It'll be the name of an anicent, royal, and well-respected queen," I sighed- this dragon clearly wanted anything that screamed 'I am clearly royalty, look at me!' The dragon nodded slightly. "Alright, Queen Selnian then?" The dragon- Queen Selnian now- nodded, smirking.

Hopping back out of the nest, she dragged both saddle bags away from me and to the nest and somewhat hidden gems before staring at me again. Sighing, I stood up and scooped all the gems and the like back into both bags, adding in the sparkly objects from her nest.

She grinned, almost truimphant, clearly pleased at having someone clear up for her. I just rolled my eyes as I mounted Subzero, patting the space in front of me in a gesture for her to climb up too. She did so, reluctantly, though she seemed partially pleased at doing so; she most likely thought that this was just an extra show of her 'superiority' over Subzero, who rolled his eyes.

Subzero padded out the cave before flying off, headed back towards Berk.

//time-skip again because hey why not//

It'd been six weeks since I brought back 'Queen' Selnian, who now stayed next to my home in her own house (think of a much larger doghouse)- it was made of mushroom wood, I think it's called, with the walls and ceiling being made of iron on the inside. The floor was made to be a soft stone, with gems implanted in the walls, floor, and ceiling. She had a large, new nest made of sheep wool, though Selnian still lined it with her own feathers that fell out.

Selnian also had blueberries delivered to her eight times a day, twice at night, and either one salmon or one chicken a month. She was also given a load more gems over the course of those six weeks, clearly pleased with that.

Regardless to say, Queen Selnian was quite happy with her new, overly-pampered live in Berk. She got attention, gems as daily gifts, was brought food quite a lot, and was referred to as a queen- she was a queen, in fact, since she was Queen Selnian.

This is Howl, my Wailing Reaper adopted from DuskDayBreak.
